Michigan golf trips, one planner, one flat fee

Your Michigan golf trip, planned right.

I'm Mike. Michigan is the only state I plan, and I'll tell you what I'd do even when that costs me the job.

Step 1 of 2 · The Basics

You're not paying or booking anything here, and I'll write you back myself, usually the same day.

Why me

I only plan one state, and I write down what I think.

The guy reading your form is the guy building your plan and the guy you email when something changes. There's no team behind me, and I've spent ten years doing this for groups of four to twenty.

The guides on this site are free to read, with no email required. Read a couple and you'll know whether you want me anywhere near your trip.

How it works

01

You tell me the trip

Group size, rough dates, and what the guys want out of it besides the golf. That's enough for me to get started.

02

I ask a few questions, then I name the fee

I'll come back with questions about the trip, and once the shape of it is clear, I'll give you one flat number for the whole group. No call to sit through, and nothing owed while we're working it out.

03

You say yes, then I build it

Once we've agreed on the number I send a payment link, and you'll know the delivery date before you pay it. The plan comes back written out day by day, ready to forward to the group.

04

You book it all direct

You get the numbers and the order to work through them, and you pay each place direct at what they'd charge anyone local. Nobody pays me a commission, so nothing on your trip is marked up. White Glove is the one exception, and it's the tier where I handle the booking.

A plan I built

A four-day trip with the tee windows, the order I put the courses in, and the base I built it around.

The Availability Guarantee

Plans meet the real world, and sometimes a tee time or a room is gone by the time you call. If anything in your plan isn't available when you book it on the schedule I give you, I fix it free until your trip is fully booked. You're never left holding a plan that doesn't work.

Why Groups Hire Me

The trip you would have to build yourself.

Two questions come up every time. What you'd have to do yourself, and what the fee costs you.

Research
Planned Solo

15-plus hours across courses, tee sheets, and rentals.

Planned by a Concierge

One intake form. The research is already done.

Routing
Planned Solo

Hours lost to a base picked for the rental, not the golf.

Planned by a Concierge

A home base chosen for the golf, not the listing photos.

Tee times
Planned Solo

The best slots gone by the time you call.

Planned by a Concierge

A booking order that protects the tee times that matter.

The group
Planned Solo

An endless group chat where nobody decides.

Planned by a Concierge

One plan the whole group can say yes to.

Hope it all comes together.

Planned by a Concierge

A trip that runs itself.

Every trip built from scratch for the group taking it.

The smallest number on your trip.

Set your group and the kind of trip, and watch where the money goes. The planning fee is the thin gold sliver at the end.

Group size

Kind of trip

Rounds $2,880
Lodging $2,160
Food & drink $1,760
Travel $800
Planning fee $750

On this trip the planning fee is about 9% of the total. That's $188 a head.

Figures are honest ballpark estimates to show proportion, not a quote. Your real plan is built to your group and budget.

Who plans your trip

Michigan has far more to offer than most people get to see, and a golf trip is one of the best ways to find it.

I've spent years driving all over this state with my best friends, playing golf and making the kind of memories nothing else touches. There are a hundred ways to put a Michigan golf trip together, and I take the guesswork out of it.

I grew up in Northeast Michigan. I know the small towns, I know which routes cut real time off a drive, and I know how to set up lodging so you get what you're after.

My first job was on the maintenance crew at Lakewood Shores in Oscoda, the summer after high school, cutting and stacking the sod on those bunker walls by hand. You learn a golf course differently when you've been out on it at five in the morning with a shovel.

Start Your Trip

Michigan plays 4 different ways, and most trips only see one

The Summer Towns

The big names are up north and they hold up. Best when the trip's a milestone.

The Lake Michigan Shore

Dunes and open water, less traveled by visiting groups, and built around one marquee round.

The Sunrise Side

Best value in the state, over on Lake Huron. Right for a group with mixed budgets.

Metro Detroit

A tight cluster of public courses, and the trip starts the day you get in.

FAQ

Common questions.

You get the whole plan. Which courses and in what order, where to stay, where to eat, and a booking sequence with links and tee time windows so your group can lock it in. On White Glove I book the tee times and lodging myself and stay your single point of contact through departure.

After you reach out, I'll ask a few follow-up questions to understand the scope of your trip. Once I have a clear picture, I'll share a flat fee and send a Stripe link. After payment is received, I get to work and deliver on the timeline that matches your plan.

I never mark up course or lodging rates.

The Weekender is delivered within 24 hours of payment. Premium plans arrive within 5 business days. The clock starts the moment payment clears.

Peak season (June to September) fills 3 to 4 months out for premier courses. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have rough dates and group size. I can always refine it later.

Plans are built for groups of 4 to 20+. The Premium Trip Plan covers up to around 20 golfers for the same flat fee, so most groups fit without stepping up to White Glove.

The Weekender and Premium plans include booking links and strategy so your group can book directly. The White Glove Experience includes full booking on your behalf.

Life happens. I rework the plan until it fits your group, and I work with you if dates or courses need to shift. Revisions cover the plan you asked for, not a new trip, so adding rounds or a new destination is a new plan. White Glove clients have dedicated support throughout the planning process.
